The Yi-Tian air defense system is developed by Norinco and was first unveiled in 2005. Mounted on a WZ551 chassis, the system is amphibious and can be further equipped with a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun.

Saudi Arabia is looking into buying ten Link-16 capable data link systems and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) suites to equip its King Air 350ER.
The third X-51A flight failed just 16 seconds after its rocket booster ignited. The U.S. Air Force attributed the problem to a faulty control fin.
