F/A-18Ds from VMFA(AW)-242 flew simulated bombing runs in Crow Valley, Philippines Oct. 12. The four aircraft took off from Iwakuni, Japan and were refueled by KC-130s from Futenma during the four-hour trip.
Once they entered Philippines, the formation broke off and head into the Crow Valley range complex to destroy three command and control vehicles there.
