Testers have completed weapons pit drop testing for the F-35C. Overall, the team completed eleven weapon releases, split between the left and right weapon bays, earlier than planned.

Royal Guard of Oman carried out first operational firing of VL MICA Ground Based Air Defence system
The the first ever operational firing of the land-based VL MICA system by an export customer was carried out on Sept. 24 by the Royal Guard of Oman.

Algerian MiG-29 fraud case closed
Russian procecutors have decided to drop charges against Sergei Tsivilev, former first deputy head of MiG, and his deputy, Oleg Fadeyev, for supplying low-quality equipment for MiG-29 fighters that were rejected by Algeria in 2007.
