Pentagon may fund work for new helicopter to preserve helicopter design capabilities

Worried that the U.S. defense industry could lose the capacity to generate new designs for military helicopters, the Pentagon said it may fund initial work on a new military helicopter in a year or two.

LM, Pentagon agrees on F-35 Lot 5

Black Eagle T-50 crash was caused by maintenance error

A maintenance officer forgot to remove a shut-off wire on a Black Eagle T-50 jet. The aircraft took off and crashed into a mountain on Nov. 15.
