The U.S. Air Force announced that Altus AFB, Fairchild AFB, Wash., Grand Forks AFB, N.D., and McConnell AFB, are candidate bases for the first active-duty led KC-46A main operating base.
Altus Air Force Base, Okla. and McConnell AFB, Kan., are also candidate bases for the KC-46A formal training unit.
