U.S. officials discussed CV-22’s deployment to Japan on Jan. 11

An official from Okinawa who was visiting Washington DC said he was briefed on the deployment of CV-22s to Japan in 2015.

During the meeting on Jan. 11, Susumu Matayoshi met Christopher Johnstone, the Pentagon’s director for Northeast Asia, together with Marc Knapper, director of the State Department’s Office of Japanese Affairs.
