U.S. Air Force spokesman Ed Gulick on Wednesday said the service was “aggressively pushing for delivery of two C-130H models in late calendar year 2013 and two additional ones before the end of calendar 2014” to Afghanistan.
The four C-130 aircraft will be replacing the C-27A and the USAF is trying to identify aircraft that can be transferred.
