Taiwan to get first six AH-64s in October

Taiwan is expecting to take delivery of first six AH-64E Apache attack helicopters in October, all 30 aircraft will be delivered by 2014.

French Rafales bomb Islamist strongholds deep in north Mali, RAF providing two C-17s

France’s Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said four Rafales, flying from their base in France, had attacked and destroyed Islamist rebel strongholds deep in northern Mali on Sunday.

Weight-saving measures for F-35 made the jet 25% more vulnerable to exploding in mid-air

A report by DOT&E said the F-35 is more vulnerable to exploding in mid-air after being hit as engineers shed weight from the aircraft.
