Pratt & Whitney said Tuesday that titanium parts supplied by Western Titanium may not meet “raw material specification requirements.”
The engine company is now reviewing five types of commercial and military engines made with parts from the San Diego company. The five engines affected are: PW4000, PW2000/F117, F100, F119 and F135.
