A long delayed plan to upgrade the capabilities of France’s Atlantique 2 (ATL 2) maritime patrol aircraft will kick off in coming weeks.
18 of the 22 ATL 2 will get a complete overhaul, with new radar, antisubmarine systems, sonars, sonobuoys and optical systems.
