Photo: Joint Deployable Electronic Warfare Range delivered to Misawa AFB

U.S. Air Force F-16 Wild Weasels based in Misawa, Japan now can practice their SEAD skills locally with the arrival of the Joint Deployable Electronic Warfare Range (JDEWR) on Aug. 11.

Previously, pilots from the 35th Fighter Wing had to fly to Red Flag exercises over at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, which has the JDEWR, for realistic training.

The JDEWR will be based at Misawa’s Draughon Range.
