Japanese Type 88 surface-to-ship missile system deployed to Okinawa Prefecture

The Japan Self-Defense Forces has deployed the Type 88 surface-to-ship system to Miyako island in Okinawa Prefecture.

The missiles were from the JGSDF 3rd surface-to-ship missile regiment at Kamifurano Station in Hokkaido. Only the launchers were transported south by ferry, no missiles were moved.
