An executive from Raytheon told Reuters that his company is close to concluding a deal with Qatar for the Patriot air defense system.
Tim Glaeser said officials from Qatar, the U.S. government and Raytheon were working to finish an agreement “as soon as all the Is are dotted and the Ts are crossed.”
Glaeser added that Kuwait may buy additional fire units by end of the year.
