The U.S. Air Force revealed that thirty-four intercontinental ballistic missile launch officers at Malmstrom Air Force Base were found to have cheated or tolerated cheating by others on their proficiency tests.
The new Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James told a news conference that the cheating offenses were uncovered during a prior probe on drug abuse.
All 34 officers have been decertified and restricted from missile crew duty.
