Abbott announces purchase of 8 P-8As with options for 4

Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced that his government will commit into buying eight Boeing P-8As with options for four more aircraft.

These maritime patrol aircraft will be based at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
