Ramstein Air Base is major UAV operations hub

Deutsche Welle looks at Ramstein Air Base’s role in coordinating USAF UAV flights operating in the Middle East and Africa.

Satellite data connecting the drones are transmitted from Ramstein and then routed back to the U.S. via fibre cables.
