Lockheed Martin’s Area Defense Anti-Munitions (ADAM) ground-based laser system successfully disabled two boats during a test off the coast of California.
Lockheed Martin is developing the transportable system to demonstrate a practical, affordable defense against short-range threats, including Qassam-like rockets, unmanned aerial systems and small boats.
