The Wall Street Journal reported that the Pentagon is giving serious consideration to deploying a battery of THAAD missile defense system in South Korea.
Separately, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. James Winnefeld has called for the deployment of THAAD in South Korea during a speech in Washington D.C.
