PLAAF ‘Gold Helmet’ TOPGUN exercise is largest to date

The ‘Gold Helmet’ air combat exercise organized by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force this year in the Gobi desert is the largest to date.

For the first time, the exercise is opened to all units from the PLAAF and during the month-long event, five outstanding pilots will be selected for the ‘Gold Helmet’ award.
