A German NH90 suffered an engine explosion four minutes after it took off for a medical evacuation flight from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan in June.
Engineers found the drive shaft was bent. The aircraft is still stuck in Uzbekistan as it could not be flown to Afghanistan for the ferry flight back to Germany.
