Luke AFB had to paint refueling truck white as the F-35 had fuel temperature threshold

The F-35 has a fuel temperature threshold and won’t operate properly if the temperature of the fuel it takes in is too high.

To mitigate this problem, the 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Luke Air Force base painted one of its refueling trucks white to reduce the temperature of fuel being delivered to the F-35.
