An Antonov seized by Nigeria on Dec. 6 has been released after the Nigerian Air Force found out that the cargo plane was ferrying French Gazelle helicopters.
Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, announced the decision in Abuja at a joint media briefing with the French Defence Attaché to Nigeria, Col Mac Humbert.
