The Finnish Army is close to taking delivery of its 20th and final NH90 helicopter, yet the service is finding it difficult to achieve an operational serviceability rate of greater than 40 percent for these new aircraft.
Lt. Col. Tuure Lehtoranta told the Defence IQ International Military Helicopter conference in London that the availability of spares is one factor behind the low availability rates.
