Japan may soon offer amphibious aircraft and early warning system technology to Indonesia after both sides sign a defense cooperation treaty.
According to Jakarta Post, the draft itself has been ready since last year. However, political reshuffles in the Japanese cabinet and the political situation in Jakarta held back the signing of the treaty.
