Korean Air Line has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Airbus to jointly bid for Seoul’s KF-X indigenous fighter program.
An anonymous Korean Air official said the agreement was needed in order to fulfill a requirement to have technical assistance from a foreign company.
Both parties are now cleared to rebid for the program which ended in a stalemate in the first round of bidding as only KAI participated.
