CO of JASDF Naha air base says his fighters are scrambled nearly everyday

In an interview with Bloomberg News, the commanding officer of Naha air base, Japan said the fighters at his base are scrambled nearly everyday.

“It’s absolutely extraordinary to ask one squadron to deal with more than 400 scrambles a year. It’s an extremely heavy burden.”
