USAF F-15s, F-16s trained against F-5s from VFC-111

F-16s from the 180th Fighter Wing and F-15 Eagles from the 159th Fighter Wing were at Naval Station Key West in January for an air combat training exercise with the U.S. Navy’s VFC-111.

During the exercise, the 180th FW participated in more than 100 sorties, providing training in Defensive Counter Air, Dissimilar Air Combat Training, and Dissimilar Basic Fighting Maneuvers.
