Dutch AH-64 crashed in Mali

The U.N. mission in Mali (MINUSMA) said two Dutch airmen were killed in a AH-64 crash in the north of the country on Mar. 17.

Captain Rene Zeetsen, 30, was killed in the crash and First Lieutenant Ernst Mollinger, 26, died later in a field hospital in Gao from his wounds.

The helicopter was taking part in an exercise conducted by the Dutch contingent about 42 km north of the town of Gao.
