The conflict in Ukraine has affected the upgrade of India’s An-32 transport fleet, five of the aircraft sent there have become “untraceable.”
“Diplomatic efforts to find their whereabouts have failed,” an official from the Indian Air Force said.
These five aircraft were part of the 40 being upgraded in Ukraine. Work on another 64 aircraft in India has stalled as well as Ukraine engineers departed and supplies of spares stopped.
