Nearly a year ago, an AV-8B Harrier crashed and destroyed the home of Jesus and Shady Valenzuela in Imperial Valley, California.
The government had promised to repay the cost of rebuilding their home again. However, they got a shock when the initial settlement offer was just $4,460.
The couple had been renting the house and according to NBC 7, the owner of the property also received an offer which was less than half of the value of the home.
