The 56th Fighter Wing flagship F-35A was flown to Luke Air Force Base on Apr. 28 by Brig. Gen. Scott Pleus, the 56th Fighter Wing commander.

The fighter, with tail code 5056, is the base’s 22nd F-35.
Luke will eventually have six squadrons of F-35s comprising of 144 aircraft by 2024.
