A special mascot was created for this MV-22B to mark the efforts by three U.S. Marine Corps squadrons to return it to serviceability.

The tilt-rotor had been a hangar queen at VMM-166 for 278 days until a team was assemble with members from VMM-166, VMM-268 and VMM-364 to return it to flight operations.
For their efforts, they received Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals or Certificates of Commendation from Maj. Gen. Michael Rocco, commanding general of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, on Jun. 25.
