The final MiG-21 Croatia ordered from Ukraine was delivered on Jul. 16 and the Croatian Air Force held a presentation ceremony at Pleso air base on Jul. 22.
Seven MiG-21s were refurbished by Ukrspecexport while another five were bought over from Ukraine. Delivery of the aircraft was delayed by a year and Ukraine has agreed to pay penalties.
