U.S. refused to grant export clearance of KAI T-50 to Uzbekistan

Apparently, South Korea would like to sell the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) T-50 advanced jet trainer to Uzbekistan, however the United States has refused to grant an export license for the deal.

An anonymous source said Seoul believes the reason might be Uzbekistan’s close ties with Russia.
