RoCAF F-16s, IDF to escort Ma’s plane during historic trip to Singapore

F-16s from Taiwan’s 445 fighter squadron and IDFs from 443 fighter squadron will escort President Ma Ying-jeou’s plane during his historic trip to Singapore on Nov. 7 to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The fighters will take turns to provide escort until the plane left Taiwan’s ADIZ and enter Philippine airspace.
