French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle is heading back to the Gulf for the second time this year.

The carrier’s mission is to launch air strikes against ISIL targets and no time frame was given on when it will depart. Fighters from the ship launched attacks against ISIL in Iraq during its cruise in the Gulf early this year.
