Leidos to implement ARL-E upgrade for U.S. Army

Leidos has been selected by the U.S. Army to upgrade nine Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Multifunction systems with nine Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) systems.

The platform will transition from the Dash 7 turboprop to the Dash 8.

Northrop Grumman was earlier chosen to develop a long-range radar for ARL-E.
