The U.S. Air Force launched a F-15E airstrike in Libya on Nov. 13. The strike killed the leader of ISIL in Libya.

Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said the strike targeted Abu Nabil, also known as Wissam Najm Abd Zayd al Zubaydi.
Cook added that this is the first U.S. strike against an ISIL leader in Libya.
