The Mk 41 was installed on four destroyers under the Tribal Class Update and Modernization Project (TRUMP) in the 1990s. This gave the ships the ability to fire 29 SM-2 Block III anti-air missiles.

The Single Class Surface Combatant Project will replace the Iroquois class and Halifax class warships towards the end of the decade.
