Indonesian Air Force spokesman First Marshall Dwi Badarmanto revealed that his service will take delivery of one AW101 helicopter next year for VVIP duties.

“The purchase is already included in TNI AU’s strategic planning for 2014-2019, so although it will be used primarily for the President’s transport, it is not purchased for the President alone,” said Badarmanto.
Two more aircraft will be delivered in 2017, they will replace the Super Pumas which had been flying for the past 25 years.
