A DC-3 that was restored in the U.K. will soon depart for India where it will join the Indian Air Force vintage squadron. The service will now have to decide whether it will dismantle the aircraft and ferry it home or to make the long distance trip home.
The cargo plane, donated by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, was restored by Reflight Airworks. It will join the vintage squadron’s Harvard and Tiger Moth.
