Indian Air Force wants to do more frequent testing of road runways

The Indian Air Force has written to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for permission to conduct more testing of landings and take-offs from highways.

A success test took place in May this year when a Mirage 2000 landed at the Yamuna expressway in Uttar Pradesh.
