Switzerland will be able to scramble Hornets at anytime of the day by 2020

The Swiss Air Force currently has two F/A-18s on standby to scramble from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. for most of the weeks of the year. This is set to change and by 2020, the country will be able to activate the Hornets within 15-minutes around the clock each day.

Pakistan is trying to buy the F-35

In an exclusive interview with The News, Pakistan Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman told the newspaper that his service “has opened negotiations with the U.S. manufacturers for exploring options of buying single engine multirole F-35.”

AFSOC getting help from USN to guide its effort for mounting laser weapon on AC-130
