TASS reported that Russia will start delivering the S-300 air defense missile system to Iran starting from January 2016.

A source privy to the development said the first regiment will be fully delivered in February and the second regiment will arrive in Iran in August or September.
The first S-300PMU-2 shipment is currently at Kapustin Yar range for testing.
Around 80 Iranians will be heading to the Mozhaisky Military Space Academy to get hands on training.
