38 North’s latest analysis on North Korea’s SSB program
The U.S.-Korea Institute at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies said the latest satellite photos taken two weeks ago suggest the Sinpo-class ballistic missile submarine (SSB) remains seaworthy and there were signs of testing activity near the submarine.

Russia will send MiG-29s and one Mi-8 to Armenia this year
The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Jan. 5 that MiG-29s and a single Mi-8 will be sent to Erebuni airbase in Armenia this year.
