Former chief of Nigerian Air Force, Air Marshal Adesola Nunayon Amosu, has been arrested by the country’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The ex-Alpha Jet pilot is said to have help funds intended to fight Boko Haram. One of the charges is that he had authorized the purchase of two military helicopters without rotors. He then compelled two pilots to fly one of the helicopters with rotors taken from an unserviceable Russian helicopter.
