Cross deck pendant snaps, 8 injured during E-2C landing on IKE
Eight U.S. Navy sailors were injured when the cross deck pendant or arresting cable aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower broke while a E-2C was landing.

German P-3C joins Operation Atalanta
A German P-3C and its crew has flown from Nordholz to Djibouti to join Operation Atalanta. Operation Atalanta is a current counter-piracy military operation at sea off the Horn of Africa and in the Western Indian Ocean.

British military helicopter crew are resigning after being told they need to return extra pay given out in error
An administrative error resulted in the British Ministry of Defense paying an extra £829,000 in salary to around 200 serving and retired Army helicopter crew over the last decade. The move by the Ministry to recover back the money has resulted in at least 15 pilots tendering in their resignation letters.
