USAF transformed C-17 into trauma center during Obama’s visit to Cuba

A Tactical Critical Care Evacuation Team-Enhanced (TCCET-E) from the 59th Medical Wing flew in a C-17 to Cuba ahead of President Obama’s visit to the island earlier this week.

While there, they transformed the C-17’s cargo bay into a trauma hospital that includes an operating table. All these equipment were packed into man-portable bags weighing a total of less than 500 pounds.
