At the FIDAE Airshow in Chile, Lockheed Martin said the sale of the S-3 to South Korea is expected to be approve in June and Vietnam plus another Asian country has shown interest in buying the retired ex-U.S. Navy anti-submarine hunter.

All together, three other nations – one of them from South America – are waiting for the South Korea buy to proceed before committing further, Clay Fearnow, Lockheed Martin’s director of maritime patrol programs said.
