In the Pentagon’s contracts notification CR-062-16, published on Apr. 4, Bell is said to have been give a $170 million contract to produce nine AH-1Z attack helicopters for Pakistan.

This is the second contract to be awarded for Pakistan’s order of up to 15 AH-1Zs. The first contract, awarded in August 2015, did not specify the number of aircraft to be manufactured as it was bundled inside an order for the U.S. Marine Corps.
